Seattle Overland

Our Story

From a single 2020 rig to a complete fleet, we build self-contained base camps for Pacific Northwest exploration.

Seattle Overland started as a straightforward rental business in 2017, run by Chanrith and Jessica — lifelong Washington residents and passionate outdoor enthusiasts. When travel came to a halt in 2020, we took a pivot: we converted one of our 4x4s into a fully self-contained overland camper, outfitting it with genuine, high-grade camping gear rather than a basic stock setup.

Listed on Outdoorsy, that first rig was rarely parked — demand quickly took off, our lineup expanded, and by 2022 Seattle Overland was officially born.

We build base camps, not rentals

We don't just rent 4x4s — we build self-contained base camps, testing every setup on the same Pacific Northwest terrain our guests explore. If we wouldn't trust a rig to take our own family into the backcountry, it doesn't leave our lot.

Based just outside Seattle, we are a short drive from Mount Rainier, Olympic, and North Cascades National Parks — the iconic landscapes our outfitted fleet is built to explore. Every vehicle features all-terrain tires and a complete premium camp kit.

Uncompromised capability. Zero prep. That's the whole idea.
